FRACTOIDS
Fractoids: Natural Habitat is a video mapping installation created for A – DASH’s project space by Christos Bourantas. The installation consists of animated content projected onto physical models accompanied by original sound composition.
In the world of Fractoids time flows like an abstract timelapse, a peculiar cycle of seven days and seven nights, where fractured solids are constantly transmutating, redefining their habitat, structuring their unique language. Civilizations rise and fall, monuments turn into ruins and floods give birth to cities.

I like the circularity of this process. My drawings becoming 3d renders and the 3d procedure, aesthetic and atmosphere informing my drawings🌐
